Raynet CRM is a cloud-based customer relationship management app that meets the client tracking and lead management needs of busy SMBs. Raynet offers all the expected features of a CRM, such as obtaining and recording all contact and lead details. However, it also provides a number of additional features for data organization, interaction tracking, performance reporting and deal management, including quote and order creation. Raynet CRM also comes with a number of integrations and a complete mobile app.

At the core of any CRM are its contact management tools, Raynet covers this area nicely by building “account cards” that include everything you need to know about your clients. These cards include basic contact info, along with your interaction history and planned future communications with each client. Scheduled meetings and appointments with clients can be recorded in your personal calendar and you can keep track of your team members’ activities by viewing their calendars. There is also a discussion section within each account card where you can post and respond to messages and attach files to share with your team.

Along with contact management for existing clients, Raynet provides a deal management feature to track the process of finding and signing new prospects. You can see a list view of all your deals by customizable deal stages, with all relevant details and files attached. You can also use this feature to create quotes and orders in one click. Raynet also integrates with Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo and Thunderbird to send emails automatically to Raynet and file them under the correct contact. The reporting tools in Raynet let you analyze the performance all areas of the sales business, including products, reps, pipeline, deals and more.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

Raynet has offices in Florida and Czech Republic and comprises a small team of 14 members. The company claim to have a “serious CRM obsession”, with a goal to make their customers love their app as much as they do. Raynet CRM has been included in the Deloitte CE Technology Fast 50 list twice, once in 2009 and again in 2011. The app is used by a number of SMBs and the company have been praised for their responsive and swift reactions to user suggestions on potential upgrades.

What are the differences to other apps?

Raynet CRM has a good balance of features, with not too many that some become redundant, and not too little that it lacks capability. The app has strong contact management features with account cards that not only display basic info, but also relationship history, a team discussion board, and automatic address info with route planning.

Raynet CRM is highly organizational with the ability to add custom tags and filters to find the data you need faster. How does the web app look and feel to use?

Raynet CRM utilizes a friendly blue and white themed interface that includes easily discernible tabs, buttons and icons. There is a navigation bar on the righthand side of the screen that provides quick access to the following sections: Dashboard, Calendar, Contacts, Business, Activities, Documents and Analyses.

A drop down list appears below some of these sections to access more granular details, for example the Contacts section is divided into Leads, Accounts and Contacts, and the Business section is divided into Deals, Quotes, Projects, Products and Price Lists.

All information within the app is easy to find with search bars in each section and customizable filters and tags. For example, you can create your own deal stages to categorize deals as you desire, and you can attach tags to contact cards for quicker search.

To sign up for Raynet CRM you simply need to click on the green “Sign Up” button on the top right-hand side of the website homepage. This leads you to the pricing page where you can choose to either try the paid plan for free for 30 days, or you can sign up straight away for the free plan.

Raynet CRM is offered on two pricing plans: the ‘Free’ plan which allows for up to 2 users, 150 accounts, and 50MG of storage, and the ‘Profi’ plan which costs $19 per month and caters to unlimited users, 20, 000 accounts, and 1TB of storage.

The affordable pricing and personal customer support make Raynet CRM an ideal solution for small and medium-sized businesses. The app is best suited to sales teams and sales managers who are looking for a way to categorize and organize all of their sales leads, accounts, contacts and deal information and their associated activities. Features such as the discussion board within contact cards and shared calendars make Raynet a good solution for teams struggling with communication. The reports and the deal management features mean Raynet can offer more visibility into sales team activities for supervisors.
